Meet Dr. Peter Spiegel
 Peter H. Spiegel, M.D. is the Coachella Valley's only eye doctor specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-ophthalmology.
Dr. Spiegel graduated summa cum laude from Clark University and attended Case Western University School of Medicine. After completing an ophthalmology residency at Tulane University, he completed fellowships at The University of Iowa and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
From 1997 to 2000, he was Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Spiegel co-authored the textbook, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus: The Requisites (Mosby, 1999) and Co-edited the major textbook, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, ed. 2 (Springer-Verlag, 2004).
His special interests are strabismus surgery, general pediatric ophthalmology, double vision and optic nerve disease. Dr. Spiegel is on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center and Hope Square Surgical Center.
